I am very disappointed in the service at Costume Craze. I placed an order on 10-19-08 for 3 costumes totalling $289.92. When I placed the order online it said all items were in stock and estimated delivery date was 10-24-08. There is no way to track your orders via UPS on the website so I trusted that all items were shipping on time.
Today is 10-25-08 and I have still not received the order. I was not notified that the order had been held for any reason. Tonight is the costume party. I called customer service and she said that they were going to notify me that an item was out of stock and admitted that the order said all items were in stock when I placed the order but they did not notify me one time since I placed this order. I had to call when the order was one day late to get this information. I have to wait 2 days for a refund. I was charged for an order that never shipped. Why would I be charged if an order was never shipped?
I will not use or reccomend this website to anyone. I am very disappointed in the communication at costume craze. 0 stars for me.
I guess they can hang onto my $289.92 for another couple of days while I spend my afternoon trying to find costumes in my area that I can get in time for a Halloween party tonight.

I placed my order last week and my experience with CostumeCraze is good. They had the costume accessories my daughter wanted that was out of stock on other Halloween costume stores so we were pretty happy about that. Too bad they don't offer free shipping, but coupon helped.
