fastest & best av software i used. occassionally i'm forced to download and run .exe files and it's great to have an av like nod32 have my back. sometimes those executables turn out to be nasty trojan downloaders and nod is able to detect it right away. this is an essential tool for any power windows user. b00ter, September 28, 2008
Good value.Defineately value for money. Jacob Lapidus, September 22, 2008
With the advent of Norton Anti-virus 2009, NOD32 may well not be the fastest AV program (at least according to PassMark Software anyways.) The #'s are very close, and I'm sure that ESET will make tweaks shortly to make NOD the speed champ once more. Also I think that you still can't beat NOD when it comes to catching the newest viruses. NOD32 is the BEST Antivirus software I've tried. My system is a Core 2 Quad Q9550 with 8 gigs of DDR2 RAM, OCZ 64 gig CORE SSD "hard drive" and a pair of OC'ed Nvidia 9800GT. But I refuse to let crappy AV software bog down my gaming frame rate, so NOD32 is my choice. It only eats like 2% of my CPU max. Eset kicks *ss. DaFooz, September 8, 2008
According to the PC World review, NOD32 is the best at preventing infections by new viruses- by a big margin. I do wish that the annual subscription rates are a bit cheaper for us home users, but man this is definitely the best A-V program I've ever installed on my PC. Frank Ulner, September 7, 2008
The best I ever tried J Moreno, August 29, 2008
NOD32 is the best AV protection you can purchase for your PC. It's light on resource too, not like the Norton AV. It is the only antivirus program I use. Eset is the best, don't go for those FAR Norton AV or any other junk program. MyTacoIsYourTaco, August 28, 2008
This is a piece of terrific antivirus software. I have the home edition... it's speedy and does the job. I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars. SCGuy, August 12, 2008
After reading the recommendation in Consumer Digest I became convinced and bought a license of Eset SS. And so far I haven't been disappointed. My system feels just as fast and I have the peace of mind knowing that it's protected. Now if they would only add a shadow copy backup software to the collection that'd be icing on the cake. nod32 is great, so good that i decided to come here and write a quick little review about it. it is fast and you never notice it slowing down your system. it's definitely doing its job too because on the rare occasion that a email trojan slips through nod32 catches it. i'm a gamer and nod32 3.0 is my anti-virus program of choice. carson, May 29, 2008
I finally decided to trash AVG 7.5 (free antivirus) in favor of Eset. AVG pretty much became nagware, and I decided that no way was I going to pay for their commercial version. After doing some research and buying Eset I'm happy with my choice. Eset is definitely a cut above from a lot of the AV software I've used in the past. Brandon, May 25, 2008
I used McAfee for years but am much happier with Nod 32 and a more comfortable that my computer is protected. It's easy to use, has an attractive interface and does the job well. Zina Bolak, May 8, 2008
PCMag recently gave ESET Smart Security 3.0 a rating of 3 out of 5 in their review, saying that the antivirus was effective but not as good in ferreting out spyware or undesirable apps. They did like the spam filter feature of ESS. Overall they gave Norton 360 the highest score. But the odd thing is how the reader reviews have a low rating for the Symantec product (2 out of 5) and a solid 3.5 out of 5 for ESS. P.C., May 7, 2008
ESet is the best antivirus software out there period. Microsoft should buy out these guys and integrate their engine into Windows. That's what future version of Windows need, FAST and efficient features built-in, and not clunky and memory-hogging like Vista. Brent Stoltz, May 4, 2008
NOD32 is a *GREAT* antivirus program. It's super how small of a footprint it has compared to other antivirus such as Norton, AVG Free, McAfee. Version 3.0 feels even lighter and snappier. CrawfishEater, April 26, 2008
I have been using NOD32 for about two years now, and with the exception of the one time I left it off like an idiot, it has protected me through thick and thin. I go to college online and have a tendency to browse the more shady sources on the internet, but this system has kept me protected even when I thought I was sure to be infected. For anyone who is considering an anti-virus solution I want you to seriously think about this. Do you want your computer to take 10 minutes to turn on, and then be less protected, or do you want the best protection this side of Venus? If the answer is b, then you HAVE to pick eset. This software was suggested to me by a well known hacker with serious connections. Norton aint holdin %$#%.

IT Guys- with thousands of new viruses/trojans attacking your systems everyday, you must upgrade your workstations to the best protection possible, and that's ESET NOD32 Business Edition. NOD proactively detects and rids of viruses, trojans, rootkits, spyware, and other types of malware. In fact NOD32 is the only software that had a 100% success rate in over 9 yeas of testing by the Virus Bulletin. Another great plus is how fast and how little resource it consumes. Test drive Eset NOD32- it's free for 30 days. NOD Fan, March 19, 2008
I'm just waiting for Eset NOD64 because I want all my apps 64bit. Come on ESET- make a 64 bit version of NOD32! Tech Enthusiast, March 19, 2008
Eset has been very light on system resources and stays up to date with virus definitions. A plus for someone who would like to set antivirus software and forget about it. brett governanti, March 11, 2008
NOD32 has to be 1 of the best anti-virus you can buy. It has a small footprint and it's fast and doesn't take up much resources. I have been using NOD32 for years and am totally satidfied. Rick F., March 7, 2008
