I bought a Roomba Discovery a couple years ago and it worked great for the first 6 months or so. Then all these pet hair (we have two cats and a dog) started to gum up the brushes underneath the robot. So we used scissors to cut long thick strands of them off and the Roomba seemed to work better. About two years after the battery just doesn't seem to hold charge for any length of time any more. I suppose that I'll need to buy a replacement battery for it. It certainly was a neat little robot vacuum going around the house cleaning and then returning to the charging station when done.
